Potayto Playlist!

Note: This is a guest post by my bestie Potayto. He told me he had better suggestions and he was actually kind enough to write a whole post for the blog! You rock, Dude! :D

Um..Hello. My name's Yanew aka DaPotayto and I’ll be your guest blogger for the day. Thank you Smiles for letting me write you a proper playlist instead of another one of your lame and girly ones
Any-banana, let’s get to it, shall we?
I’ll be filling Shynah’s categories with choices of my own
First up,

The Motivational Song:
Hall Of Fame –The Script ft. Will.I.Am

This song is simply everything you ever wanted to hear when you feel worthless rolled into another masterpiece by The Script. The message is simple. You Are Awesome. Listen and listen well 'cause it will pick you up from whatever deep dark hole you’re hiding in.
“Yeah, You could be the greatest
You can be the best
You can be the King Kong banging on your chest
You could beat the world
You could beat the war
You could talk to God, go banging on his door”

The Sad Song
How To Save A Life –The Fray

I’ll put it bluntly. This song is depressing as hell! Beautifully written and overflowing with sadness, this is one tear jerking story told by The Fray. A must-listen-to song.
“Where did I go wrong?
I’ve lost a friend.
Somewhere along in the bitterness,
And I would have stayed up with you all night,
Had I known how to save a life”

The Happy Song
Yellow-Coldplay
This song, particularly when Chris Martin messes around with it live, never fails to put a smile on face. Coldplay has a knack for writing music so original and so amazing both lyrically and melodically! No wonder their audiences love em! Coldplay is awesome!!!
“Look at the stars.
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.
Yeah, they were all yellow.”

The Post Break Up Song
Drunk –Ed Sheeran

Shiny’s last post had a song about being better after a break up but this one, is quite different Ed is still utterly heart broken and drowns himself in alcohol to see if he can find happiness at the bottom of a beer bottle. Depressing? Yes. Ed Sheeran’s magical voice and amazing lyrics? Also yes! Hats off to you Ginger Jesus!
“But our house gets cold when you cut the heating
Without you to hold I'll be freezing
Can't rely on my heart to beat it
'Cause you take part of it every evening
Take words out of my mouth just from breathing
Replace with phrases like when you're leaving me.”

TV Series Theme Music
I’ll Be There For You (FRIENDS) –The Rembrandts covered by Boyce Avenue.

Yes. I’ve never actually watched Friends, but I’ve seen 2 or 3 episodes so, meh. What I do know is that Boyce Avenue has posted a gorgeous rendition of the show’s theme on Youtube which ya’ll have to check out right now! After doing so, check out everything else by Boyce Avenue. They be awesome!!!
“It's like you're always stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week
Your month, or even your year
I'll be there for you”
Yes you, you pudgy raccoon!  Always.

The Sentimental Song
Like We Used To –A Rocket To The Moon

Testament to a true gentleman. Girl leaves him for a different guy but all he cares about is her happiness. Put your headphones on, close your eyes and listen. Sentimental is the only word I use to describe this one.
“Will he love you like I loved you?
Will he tell you every day?
Will he make you feel like you're invincible with every word he'll say?”

The Medley
Maroon5 Medley –Kurt Hugo Schneider ft. Max Schneider and Victoria Justice
When it comes to medleys, there is no one better than the awe-inspiring Kurt Hugo Schneider. The lyrics are wonderfully connected and the music is pretty darn good. The video is also awesome! Check it out!

Party Song
Who Let the Dogs Out –Baha Men

This song is quite old and is not all that mainstream but when it comes to awesome party songs, this takes the cake! It’s just so much fun to listen to!
