Potluck!

Our class is so International! We have around 7 Singaporeans( Richard, Andy, Martin, Durga, Armon, Chester and Karthik), 2 Malaysians( Shan and Letisha), 2 Cambodians( Matin and V2), a Zimbabwe-an( Princess), a Canadian (Anishka, born in Sri Lanka), a Bahrain-ian( Kelly), a Brunei-an (Sneha, born in India), 1 French( Sarah), 1 Japanese( Masa), a Pakistani( Asna), someone from the Middle East( Mila), a Chinese( Gloria) and a Maldivian(Me)!

So it was only a matter of time before we had a potluck party with each of us cooking dishes from our own home country- well, atleast, that was the idea~! ;)

So Asna, Karthik, Chester and Masa were picked up by Richard and Andy (they are one of the few people who have cars!) since they had a LOT of grocery to take to Richard and Andy's place. They were planning to cook there, and Asna is this amazing Briyani Chef! ;)

Me, Shan and Princess took the bus since we didn't have that much stuff with us. I had the ingredients needed for pasta (I know it's not Maldivian, but I prepared Pasta in the Maldivian way, not the Italian way :D) and Princess and Shan took cup cakes and two chocolate cakes!

When we got off the bus, we kinda got lost, because a person we asked for directions mislead us. But the view there was so beautiful and all the houses had such pretty gardens with amazing flowers! :D

 We were the first ones to get there. So we had plenty of time to admire the awesome place! Seriously, that place was like a cabin in the woods! So dreamy! And the view was so out of this world~! We could even see the Lake Macquarie from the balcony! :D

And their landlord, Peter, was so friendly! When we looked around the house we saw stained glasses, so pretty! Apparently, it was all Peter, but he was so modest that he didn't even mention that to us! And he built the whole house by himself, with these eco friendly stuff ;)

Richard and Andy then went to fetch Letisha, Durga, Martin, Sarah and V2.

All of us started cooking. I cooked in the 1st floor, and Karthik, Asna, Chester and Sarah cooked in the 2nd floor. Apparently Asna was the head chef and everyone else was helping! They made a lot of stuff.

I finished cooking pasta real quickly, so Shan,  Princess and I went down to where Peter lived with his wife, Lily. Peter had told us before to go there once we finished cooking. So we did, and there they were  with 2 English boys, Josh and Adam, who were apparently their tenants. All of them were doing Karaoke and we joined them. It was so much fun! Turns out Princess can actually sing ;)
